Ascend Badminton Centre is a state-of-the-art, professional-grade badminton facility – the first of its kind in London Ontario.
Co-founded by badminton enthusiasts, Ascend Badminton aims to increase the accessibility of badminton in London and South-Western Ontario. Despite being commonly dubbed a “backyard sport”, we believe badminton has the potential to be a leading national sport. Our facility is carefully designed with optimal playing conditions to ensure players experience badminton in its truest form.
Located conveniently in the Activityplex London building at 1305 Commissioners Road East, we are only minutes away from Highway 401 and Victoria Hospital.
We offer a variety of programs including but not limited to: drop-in play, court rental, group lessons, and private lessons.
HOURS OF OPERATIONS
Reservations required for weekday before 1:00pm.
Bookings outside regular hours may be available upon request.
MONDAY: 1pm – 10:30pm
TUESDAY: 1pm – 10:30pm
WEDNESDAY: 1pm – 10:30pm
THURSDAY: 1pm – 10:30pm
FRIDAY: 1am – 10:30pm
Saturday: 7am – 10:30pm
Sunday: 7am – 10:30pm
BADMINTON DROP-IN
Pay a flat admission fee to play up to 3 hours within the allocated drop-in timeframe.
Online reservations strongly recommended. Capacity is limited, walk-in at your own risk.
Shuttlecocks are not provided, but are available for purchase in our pro-shop.
Rental racquets & shoes available each for $3 per use.

COURT RENTAL
Book a badminton court for your private use, pay by the hour. Online reservations required.

TRAINING PROGRAMS
Our elite training program consists of multi-shuttle, rally, footwork, and sparring drills led by NCCP trained & certified coaches who are current or former provincial, national and international level players. We have produced top junior athletes in Western Ontario, including regional and provincial champions.
